NASA Administrator's Fellowship Program (NAFP)

Eligibility: Full-time, tenure-track faculty member of a Minority Institution; Ph.D., Sc.D. or equivalent (less than 20 years) in a STEM field or have expertise in NASA related field; recommended by Department Chair, Dean, and President; return to the home institution in a teaching/research capacity for a least two years after the fellowship; not serve as Principal Investigator or Co-Principal Investigator of any NASA research grant during fellowship tenure at a NASA Center; US citizen or permanent resident (as of May of the program year).

Description: NASA Administrator’s Fellowship Program is designed to enhance the professional development of faculty at minority institutions, who teach in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Through exposure to NASA-related research and facilities, STEM faculty can build relationships and gain valuable experience to further their professional research and teaching goals. Faculty members with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation services.
